The
Hidden Daydream.

Moving image from the latent space.
Stories that feel human, made otherwise.

01 — Manifesto

Every image that ever existed lives hidden in mathematical space, waiting to be dreamed into form.

35 Labs is an AI-native film studio based in Amsterdam. We make animated short films using generative models — not as a gimmick, but as a genuine medium with its own aesthetic language.

We believe the frontier between human imagination and machine synthesis is where the most interesting cinema is being made right now. We are building there, frame by frame.

Our work is directed by humans who understand both the emotional logic of storytelling and the mathematical logic of diffusion models. The result is something neither could make alone.

We make cinema for the Netherlands and Mexico — two cultures with a deep appetite for visual storytelling and an openness to the genuinely new.

02 — Our Approach

01 / Write First

Story Drives
the Machine.

Every film begins with a script and a storyboard. The story drives the machine — not the other way around. We are storytellers who happen to use AI as our camera.

02 / Consistency

Consistent
Worlds, Souls.

Character consistency across AI-generated shots is a hard technical problem. We solve it through fine-tuned character models and a rigorous production pipeline built in-house.

03 / Emotion

Made to
Feel Something.

The measure of every frame is not technical quality but emotional truth. If it doesn't move you, it doesn't ship. That standard guides everything — from the prompt to the color grade.

03 — The People

FS

Frank Sierra

Founder & Technical Director

His journey into AI began in philosophy — specifically with Masanao Toda's thought experiment about autonomous agents. That question pulled him through cognitive neuroscience, computer vision, and into generative AI. Now he applies the same question to cinema: how do you build something synthetic that genuinely feels.

LV

Luisa Valender

Creative Producer

Her intellectual home is the edge of language — she wrote her thesis on Wittgenstein, the philosopher who argued that what cannot be said must be shown. Cinema is the logical conclusion of that insight. She built El Olvidado from an idea into a place people chose as their own.

CN

Clemente Núñez

Screenwriter & Story Editor

He started where all good storytellers do: asking big questions. He spent years writing about politics and culture, then serving as deputy news editor in radio and TV. A career spent finding the story inside the noise. Now he brings that instinct to the screen.

OS

Oliver Sierra

AI Engineer

He started where few engineers do: inside the human mind. Studied psychology and computer science together. His research in game theory gave him a framework for understanding systems. He is the one pushing the limits of what the machine can show.

LO

Leslie Orozco

Brand Strategist

She has always worked at the edge of strategy and intuition — where a brand stops being a logo and starts being something you remember. Founder of Lemon Studio. Her philosophy is simple: less noise, more feeling.

JW

Julia Wypyszynski

AI Video Artist

She grew up reading blueprints before she learned to read paintings. A Master's in Food Innovation taught her that creativity is a discipline of disruption — that the best ideas come from thinking sideways. Now she turns that instinct on the frame, coaxing images that feel like they were always there.

Frame 001 — In Production

Our debut short is in development.

A 2–3 minute proof of concept exploring a single character, a single environment, and a story that earns its final image. Built to stress-test our pipeline and establish our visual voice.

05 — Get in Touch

Let's make something real.

We are open to conversations about co-production, distribution, commissioned work, and collaboration. Based in Amsterdam, working across European and Latin American markets.
